For bistros and fast foods, bright durable furniture without unnecessary decor is suitable, and the interior is embodied in the corporate style and colors. As a rule, cafes are created for some theme, and everything in it corresponds to the chosen theme: from the general color scheme to the door handles. Customers are always impressed by the special details in the room: dim light, interesting decor, a cozy corner by the window.

    Restaurants, as a rule, are visited at lunchtime or in the evening, as they mostly come to spend an interesting evening, relax, or for business meetings. Accordingly, a harmonious and holistic interior is the first impression. Therefore, it is important to create a soft and unobtrusive interior that would satisfy both conservative people of a respectful age and creative youth or a pragmatic business class.

    The design of the restaurants is as diverse as the number of different national dishes. Despite the fact that the fashion for styles of restaurant decoration periodically changes, one thing remains the same: the interior should make you want to come back here again. Plus, interior design will help you stand out. For example, an ordinary coffee shop or pizzeria does not always manage to make itself felt thanks to only one kitchen, since the number of dishes they have is limited.

    The interior of the pizzeria will be logical to design in the Italian style, but the design of a Japanese restaurant or a sushi bar is best developed based on the canons of the oriental style. It is extremely important to take into account the target audience of the establishment, since the interior of fast food restaurants and the design of elite establishments of national food have different conceptual foundations. In general, the design of the establishment should emphasize the features of the proposed menu.

    Do not forget that in the interior design of a cafeteria or restaurant, it is important to think over ventilation and lighting systems. One light source will not be enough in the room, since the tables for visitors and the bar require different levels of illumination. In this case, one should take into account the number and size of windows in the room, and the operating mode of the institution.     Design and its stages

    The design of catering establishments can be divided into several stages:

    Preparatory. Collection of all the necessary parameters: initial design data, inspection of the premises, if necessary – examination of premises for compliance with the requirements of catering establishments, setting tasks (average bill, planned number of clients, etc.)

    Planning. It is the first stage of the design project, it includes a deeper study of the features of the object, taking measurements, preliminary zoning of the premises, and the development of an architectural and planning solution. At the planning stage, the customer receives information on the number of seats, the number of furniture and how much space it will take, information on the main routes of movement of customers and staff, as well as how to separate these flows, where there will be doors, arches, a bar and other elements.

    Style. At this stage, the type of institution, its style, and color scheme are determined. The solution is displayed in a volumetric-spatial sketch (computer 3-d model or freehand drawing), the main task of the image
